Meet Laura
Founder & principal designer
With a love of art and architecture fostered at home, coupled with a natural affinity for spatial geometry, Laura Carlucci was destined for a career in architectural interiors and design.
Before establishing LBC Design, Laura pursued a Bachelor of Art degree plus a Masters in Architecture from Columbia University and honed her skills for over 17 years at prestigious architectural firms in NYC. She designed and managed the opening of new stores for boutique clients including Giorgio Armani and Dolce and Gabbana. In addition, she has worked on a wide range of residential projects from kitchens to full apartment renovations and custom new build homes.
Laura’s portfolio comprises a wide range of past and present ventures, including home renovations in South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, upscale residences and apartments in the Hamptons and Manhattan, and high-end retail boutiques in San Francisco, Chicago, Palm Beach and New York.
Laura currently resides in South Orange, NJ with her husband and two sons.

Project manager
Rosemary is an integral part of the LBC team, handling all project-related aspects, including coordinating with vendors and clients, purchasing and procurement, installations, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and stays on track. Rosemary received her degree in engineering and has over 20 years of experience working on large-scale engineering projects in New York City. She is also dedicated to giving back to her community, having sat on multiple non-profit boards over the years. When she's not pushing projects forward at LBC Design, she can be found playing tennis, skiing, or cheering on her three children at their basketball games here in Maplewood.
