"We first contacted Laura with a small bathroom renovation project. She understood what we wanted to accomplish and prepared design proposals that were completely in line with our thinking - she "got" us and our design sensibility/aesthetic right from the start. That first experience convinced us that she was the right person to lead us through a full kitchen renovation. Again, her design proposals indicated that she understood us right from the start - she has an incredible talent for space planning and working with the "bones" of a very old house. Every aspect of our kitchen renovation was carefully thought out - and the vendors she recommended were also incredibly responsive and professional. We did not have a single problem or hiccup with the project, and her wonderful contractor finished the job on time! I think what sets Laura apart is her meticulous project planning and attention to detail - this is probably why there weren't any delays with the work or with deliveries of the supplies/finishings/appliances involved. Working with Laura is very easy - she "got" us very quickly - and therefore was able to provide us with options/choices that were very much in line with our expectations (think tile, countertops, cabinetry, hardware, lighting). Her ability to "edit" and provide us with a handful of appropriate choices made many of the decisions involving our project so easy.
